BRIEF History
ILA Local 1235 has represented longshore workers in the ports of Newark and Elizabeth New Jersey for the last century. Initially chartered in 1927, ILA Local 1235 and its Executive Board are proud to continue to represent its members which comprise the largest ILA Local union affiliate from the longshore craft.
